Application of Financial Aid
Financial Aid will be applied to student accounts in the following order:
- Federal (Pell) and SEOG Grants are applied to all eligible accounts first.
- State Grants are then applied to qualifying accounts.
- Any outside scholarships are applied next.
- Direct Loans will be applied, if applicable.
- Scholarships will be applied only after all Federal and State monies have been applied.
Academic Progress Requirements
Students who receive financial aid must meet the College’s standard of “satisfactory progress” in order to continue to receive financial aid. Students who have not met the credit requirements or academic requirements are not eligible for financial aid until the deficiency is remedied. All courses covered by scholarship must be completed with at least a passing grade. Students dropping or withdrawing from any course covered by scholarship forfeit the scholarship and must make payment arrangements with Student Accounts to repay scholarship monies. The refund policy for add/drop will also apply to scholarships.
