Biography:
His publications include: Greek Behind the Prof’s Back: A Self-Instructional Workbook in New Testament Greek, “The Expectation Syndrome,” in Moody Monthly, contributor to The Complete Bible Library (wrote 40 Greek word studies, 200+ Hebrew word studies, wrote the commentary on 1 John to Jude), and co-authored with Max Anders “Proverbs” in the Holman Bible Commentary.
Presently Dr. Bechtle is the Director of Telos Institute International. His responsibilities include the overall direction of the program; supervise office staff and approximately fifteen tutors; administer a budget of up to $500,000; develop curriculum; oversee the production of the catalog and public relations materials. He has been a professor of Biblical Studies, Acting Academic Dean, Assistant to the VP of Academic Affairs, Academic Dean and VP of Academic Affairs. Dr. Bechtle has been an Instructor for Walk Thru the Bible (Old Testament seminars), Traveling Bible Teacher in Austria for Operation Mobilization, Coordinator for Back to Genesis Seminar, Institute for Creation Research.
