Biography:

Joel has been serving as a part-time instructor for Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, in their regional and online classrooms since 2006.  Joel is an Assyrian-American.  His father's family emigrated from Iraq in the early 1970's escaping persecution from the Muslims and ongoing war.  Recently, Joel was heard on Moody Radio: Janet Parshall Live speaking about the Assyrians in the Bible Prophecy and Middle East tensions.   He has helped collaborate on the Assyrian Bible dealing with syntax and grammar issues, a project hosted by Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL, and also has provide discipleship and mentoring training for the Assyrian Christian Church, Chicago, Illinois.  His dissertation will focus on Globalizing and Contextualizing Pastoral Leadership in Multi-ethnic and Multi-cultural Settings
