Sherry: My passion is to see God glorfied by discipling growing in the church.
Biography:
Ms. Miley was honored for the second time with an Eli Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship. The project was The Holocaust where she traveled to Theresienstadt, Auschwitz Birkenau, Plaszow, Warsaw Ghetto, Majdanek, Yad Vashen Holocaust Museum in Israel. She taught workshops for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) on the topic “Creativity in Foreign Language Teaching.
Ms. Miley has taught Spanish and Holocaust Studies at Heritage Christian School, been part of the teaching faculty and staff Spanish for Washington Township Schools (writing the curriculum), and a member of the New Horizons Youth Ministry Board and Vice President. She is a member of ACTFL national foreign language teacher’s association and state language teacher’s association. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum selected her to attend Belfer II Holocaust Conference n Chicago. She was one of five teachers selected for the Lilly Academy and was chosen to teach pre-service student teachers at Indiana State University.
