What are the Academic Requirements for Graduation?

A student who desires to graduate from Crossroads must submit a Petition to Graduate Form to the Registrar by February 1 for May graduation and October 1 for December graduation (not necessarily offered annually). The Office of the Registrar shall evaluate all petitions to ensure that all requirements for graduation are fulfilled.

To be eligible for any certificate or degree the student must have:
Completed a minimum of thirty (30) credits at Crossroads, normally completed during the student's senior year.

  • Earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
  • Completed the requirements for Christian Service.
  • Attempted all credits prior to walking in the graduation ceremony. If a student is three to six credits short of their degree completion, the student may appeal to their Academic Advisor who will present the appeal to the Registrar. Incomplete work or insufficient credit completion automatically disqualifies a student from academic honors.
  • Settled all financial obligations at Crossroads, including the graduation fee
  • Conducted the Financial Aid exit counseling session.
  • Shown evidence of Christian character and conduct consistent with the standards of the college.

In addition, students graduating with the Bachelor of Science degree must have:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of the English language.
  • Submitted a statement of agreement with the published doctrinal statement of the College o ra statement listing areas of disagreement.
  • Prepared a written doctrinal statement and defended it satisfactorily before a committee of faculty members.

Who can I bring to graduation?
