When you think of your Crossroads Bible College faculty, the first image that comes to your mind is likely of that of a professor engaging a classroom full of students. That’s certainly central to our calling.
However, your CBC faculty also ministers worldwide through their writing ministry. Today, we highlight just a few of the recent writing projects that your CBC faculty have produced in order to glorify God by training Christian leaders worldwide to reach a multiethnic urban world for Christ.
Scripture and Counseling: God’s Word for Life in a Broken World
Two of your CBC faculty contributed to this important new book published by Zondervan with a Foreword by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr.
Dr. Kellemen, our VP of Institutional Development and the Chair of the Biblical Counseling Department, served as the General Editor for the book. Additionally, Dr. Kellemen wrote chapter 7, “A Counseling Primer from the Great Cloud of Witnesses,” chapter 10, “The Bible Is Relevant for That?”, and chapter 11, “The Rich Relevance of God’s Word.”
Professor Lilly Park, Professor of Biblical Counseling, co-authored chapter 14, “Speaking the Truth in Love.”
Biblical Counseling and the Church: God’s Care Through God’s People
Several of your CBC faculty contributed to this book, to be released by Zondervan in September, 2015, with a Foreword by Dr. Paul Tripp.
Dr. Kellemen once again served as the General Editor. He also co-authored the Introduction: “Speaking Christ’s Truth in Love,” and he authored chapter 17, “Caring Like Christ: Legal and Ethical Issues in Biblical Counseling in the Church.”
President Ware co-authored chapter 15, “Launching and Leading a Biblical Counseling Ministry in a Multi-Cultural Church.”
Professor Park co-authored chapter 21, “Biblical Counseling, the Church, and the Academy.”

Gospel-Centered Counseling: How Christ Changes Lives
